Note: Use this article as a resource, but just keep in mind we no longer use Canva for most of the purposes; most of the tools here are outdated and we have since moved to other tools such as Sketch. For customers using Canvas, they will either hire our team to create branding/welcoming pages for them or ask their own designers.

Canva is a platform for designers to create the MilkCrate clients’ icon, logo, apple screenshots
(5.5 iOS , 6.5 iOS , 12.9 iOS), Android screenshots, social media buttons, category buttons, and cover images.
In the following sections, you will learn how to use MilkCrate’s template “Do Good” to customize your own designs, use the color palette and how to utilize the “Elements” feature to enhance your designs!
New clients:
A color palette is usually determined by the client and would be available under Branding/App store in Airtables.
If the color palette has been made yet, to go to their website, click on the add on the chrome extension, ColorPick Eyedropper, () , and grab the most commonly used colors throughout
their website and jot the hexadecimal codes.
Hexadecimal code: A color hex code is a way of specifying color using hexadecimal values. The code itself is a hex triplet, which represents three separate values that specify the levels of the component colors.
Any alterations to any design in terms of the screenshots or logo or the welcome screens means going to their already existing folder in canva and changing their designs accordingly. The same concept applies to their color kit adding or removing a color to their already existing color palette.
“Elements” is one of the sections on the left that provides various options to add more character to your designs. It includes shapes, lines, illustratrations, icons, frames, stickers, frames and much more. Use the search bar at the top to search for specific elements or browse suggested element groups by clicking “See all”. Before you search, click the icon in the search bar at the top right corner, pictured in the second screenshot below, to filter icons by price. Click on the box next to “Free” to filter out the icons that have cost attached. You should only be working with icons that are free. Avoid icons with the premium icons with the symbol $ , ♛.
