Setting up Posts in Admin

In order to set up the ability for users to make posts in your app, you'll first have to enable the feature in Admin.

Admin - Settings - Profile

To start, navigate to the "Settings" section of your dashboard and make sure you're under the "Profile" tab.

Once here, scroll down to the "Features" field and enter "Feed." Doing so will bring up a dropdown that, among other features, will include "Feed." Click on this option to add it to your list of enabled features. Now do the same with "Posts." Once done, click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

Admin - Settings - Remove Feed Feature (Cropped)

If you decide in the future that you want to disable either feature, navigate your way back to this page, click the "x" icon next to the undesired feature, and hit "Save."

Creating a Post in Your App

Once the necessary features are enabled in Admin, users will be able to view and interact with your community's activity feed.

App - Activity Feed-1

To view the activity feed, click the world icon on the bottom navigation bar.

App - Activity Feed - Create New

Once on the activity feed page, users can scroll through the recent activity of your community as well as contribute a post of their own.

To create your own post, click on the pencil icon in the top right corner.

App - Activity Feed - New Post (Cropped)

Doing so will bring you to a new page where you can add text and photos. Once you've finished creating your post, hit the send arrow in the top right to post it to your community's activity feed.
